In September, the international Adventurers and Explorers Guild (AEG) designated Mr Phil Cavanagh an Honorary Fellow of the Guild.
Honorary Fellowship is the one of the highest members bestowed by the Guild, and Mr Cavanagh is a very commendable member.
Mr Cavanagh has worked in both defence force and emergency services where he has developed strategic planning, dynamic risk mitigation and search and rescue skills in both operational and expeditionary environments. Phil has worked tirelessly building the guild memberships whilst also balancing advisory positions. Throughout his adult life, he has endeavoured to push his boundaries in outdoor exploration, particularly micro adventures, and inspire others to do the same.
His experience in both defence and emergency service response has seen Phil working domestically and internationally.
In addition to his many professional activities, Mr Cavanagh is a keen hiker, micro explorer and youth mentor. Having logged hundreds of micro-adventures, Mr Cavanagh is a proven administrator and adventurer dedicated to outdoor exploration.
